Decision in a civil case

The decision in a civil case will be handed down either immediately after the hearing or later in chambers, in which event the parties can read the decision in the registry of the court. The decision is called a judgment or a decision. The decision is delivered to the parties upon request.

A person unhappy with the decision may appeal against it in a court of appeal according to the instructions for appeal enclosed with the decision.

If the judgment is not appealed against, it becomes final. If necessary, the judgment may be executed by way of enforcement.
