Enforcement

The decisions of a court of appeal are enforceable at once. For instance, a judgment debt can be taken at once to the bailiff for enforcement. If a party has appealed against the decision of the court of appeal in the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court may order, upon request or on its own motion, that the decision of the court of appeal is not to be enforced until further notice, or order a stay of enforcement.
