
The Legal Register Centre answers for the enforcement of pecuniary penalties and fixed fines, as well as the collection of damages, debts and financial penalties awarded to the state.
Further functions of the office are the covery of claims based on criminal liability and the enforcement of imprisonment for failure to pay fines.
The Legal Register Centre also maintains some registers of judicial administration (i.e. the criminal records and the register of debt regulations) and answers for the submission of data from them.
The Legal Register Centre consists of four units: Registers, Enforcement, Development Services and Administration Services.
The office employs about 50 persons.
