The function of the Legal Register Centre in accordance with a separate statutory provision is:

1) to act as the controller for information systems and registers relevant to the judicial administration sector as well as to convey information reported by judicial administration authorities to other authorities;

2) to be responsible for enforcement tasks relating to fines, forfeitures, payments and claims as well as to be heard on behalf of the State in these duties.


The Legal Register Centre consists of four units: Registers, Enforcement, Development Services and Administration Services.
The office employs about 50 persons.
